Below are our student works that won CT Regional Scholastic Art Awards, Boston Globe Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, Shoreline Art Alliance Future Choices Awards and the Annual All-American Chinese Brush Painting and Calligraphy Competition 全美青少年國畫書法比賽.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards has been the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the U.S., and the nation’s largest source of scholarships for creative young artists and writers. In 2014, over 136 private, public and parochial Connecticut schools have participated and over 2,000 artworks were submitted to the CT Regional Scholastic Art Award program. Regional Gold Key winners in each state will be judged at the national level to compete for the national medal.
2014 All-American Chinese Brush Painting and Calligraphy Competition 第23屆全美青少年國畫書法比賽:
- Arianna Xie 謝洁瑩 (also a finalist winner in 2013), age 9: one painting for Honorary Award.
- Lily Yi 伊麗麗, age 8: one painting for Honorary Award.
- Daphnie Lu, age 8: one painting for Finalist Award.
- Rebecca Gu 顧佳波, age 8: one painting for Finalist Award.
- Sophia Sit 薛佳瑩, age 6: one painting for Finalist Award.

- Heather Wu, age 15: One drawing for Gold Key and Lyme Art Association – Best in Traditional Drawing; and one drawing for Silver Key in CT.
- Catherine Peng, age 16: One drawing for Gold Key and one painting for Honorable Mention in CT.
- Amy Long, age 17: One drawing for Silver Key and one painting for Silver Key in MA.
2014 Shoreline Art Alliance Future Choices Awards:
